Membership applications are available here.It won't cost you anything, but membership in Meetup is separate from your Procrastinating Pedalers membership and Meetup Group membership is necessary for you to get the full benefits of our Procrastinating Pedalers Meetup Group. Even though anyone can see the Pedaler's calendar on Meetup, if you are not a Pedalers Meetup member (again, free, no cost) you are missing out on additional information and features available only to Pedaler Meetup Group members. Examples of exclusive features for Pedalers Meetup Group members only are: being notified if a ride you rsvp'd for got cancelled, the ability to see other Meetup members ratings and comments about previous rides, see who plans to attend the ride, discussion groups, and learn more about our members, plus additional features we aren't listing here.
E-Bike Policy Our club welcomes class 1 &
3 E-bikes on our rides. We do NOT allow class 2 E-bikes (a bicycle with a motor
that engages without pedaling.) It is important to make sure that you,
and the bike, are capable of doing the ride that you select. Review the ride
description, the map/route sheet, or contact the ride host for more information
about the ride.E - Bikes
The Procrastinating Pedalers Club is looking for ride
hosts and assistant
ride hosts. Being an assistant
ride host is a good way to learn the ropes before leading your own ride.
What's in it for you?
You will earn respect and appreciation from your fellow riders.
We are a group of riders who enjoy the many beautiful routes that our area has to offer. With new ride hosts, new routes are discovered. This is a great way to give back to the club and expand the riding calendar. We are a club that values its volunteers. There will be recognition through a special event that will be planned later in the year. We really want to encourage your participation in club activities! You must be a Pedaler's club member in good standing to lead a ride or be an assistant ride host.
Information on joining the club may be found the lower half of this
page. You
must also be a member of the
Pedalers group on meetup.com so that you may be listed as a ride host
on the
calendar. There is no fee
for joining Meetup.
